•Natural Harmonics & Fingered Notes!

•Mute Selected Strings!

We've combined the rich sound of natural harmonics with patented SpiderCapo technology to bring you the ultimate: SpiderCapo with Harmonik Gloves™.

Open strings will sound harmonics, and fingered notes will sound as played.

Used as Mutes, you can further define your open tuning as in the Open G minor example below.

In addition, Harmonik Gloves may be used to Mute selected strings to control unwanted string-ring, or reduce feedback without loss of tone!

(See picture)

It can attach anywhere on the guitar fingerboard because there is no strap behind the neck.

For the 1st time classical and nylon string guitar players can explore the sonic palette of capoed harmonics. Great for Electric Basses too!

The world of 19th fret harmonics opens up!

Harmonik Gloves attached at the 12th fret of a classical guitar. Note that a conventional
capo cannot be placed on the guitar neck at this fret. We recommend beginning with the 12th fret,
but it can also be used on the 5th, 7th and even 19th fret-shown below...

G minor Open Tuning @ 3rd Fret. Note the 5th string is Muted with a Glove.

More aggressive muting is shown on the right. Locate the pitch of the feedback and Mute only those strings  at that pitch level. This will lessen unwanted String-ring buildup on highly amplified electric guitars, or help reduce feedback on miked acoustic guitars, while not sacrificing Guitar Tone.

Do this before applying conventional feedback elimination which WILL change your guitar's tone.

Note: SpiderCapo does not need to be attached tightly for this.

Instructions for Natural Harmonics Setup:
1. Attach the Spidercapo to the Guitar neck with at least one Glove extended to locate the point where the tip of the Glove touches the natural harmonic.
2. Pluck the string and lower [rotate] the Harmonik glove until it touches the string and the harmonic sounds. [Be sure not to depress the string with the Glove].

Note: When you finger a note, you depress the string under the Harmonik Glove. The higher the string action on your guitar, the farther back from the Harmonik Glove a depressed note will sound.

If you have very low action, you will not be able to play to far behind the Glove, so we advise you to use Harmonik Gloves with medium or greater action for best results.

The SpiderCapo/Harmonik Glove combo is not impeded by a strap or gizmo behind the neck so it can be used on Classical Guitars at the 12th fret- previously not possible due to the neck joint, or on Dobros, Mountain Dulcimer, Ukuele, Banjo, Bouzouki as well as the Electric Bass family.
