Simple Accompaniment demonstration

Initially created for dealers, this short video gives a handle to playing the guitar easily and accessibly with the SpiderCapo.

Note that the root note of the G scale is now the open E string. This is analogous to the middle C on piano. The entire G major scale is playable from 5th to 5th of the scale- on the B and E strings with one hand shift. this makes the playing of most popular melodies easily accessible. The biggest benefit however is that intervals are played up and down the string, rather than cross strings which is much more intuitively challenging – chiefly for beginners.

All these things make learning to play melodies and guitar much more analogous to playing white notes on the piano beginning on middle C. Music educators know that this is the simplest way to learn to play melodies.
